The dialogue between humans and computers traverses an often ignored filter, i.e., the personality of the user. QIRIS is doing research on systems to adapt interaction to users’ personalities, in order to increase the adaptability of the dialogue and to optimize the ability of software systems to communicate effectively with users, especially in distance learning contextsand in applications that encourage a behavioral change to improve the quality of life.
