Safety in the transport of the (critical) patient

The transport of critically ill patients is a particularly risky circumstance because it exposes subjects to a variety of risks that can degrade or compromise patients’ vital functions. QIRIS is developing a system capable of monitoring the subject’s condition during transfer. Additionally, QIRIS’ technology is able to identify any adverse events that may occur during transport, and to require immediate intervention by the staff, who can provide assistance, thus preventing further damage or consequences for the patient.
